Not just a author, but the number-one sportswriter in the nation. This book was great. Basketball, Trash Talk, The American Dream, by Mitch Album is an excellent book for any sports fan or anyone who wants to know more about the history of the University of Michigan Basketball team.

Unbelievable in this time period. This book is filled with facts that I never known before I read this book and Album does a really great job of explaining everything you need to know about the Fab Five.

With all that said, I read the book with one question in my mind and there were passages that raised this question again and again: The Fab Five wanted to change people’s perception of basketball. He covers the improbable championship run ofand how that success led to a sudden exodus of Michigan players to the NBA. Throughout the story, they talk about the ups and downs of their careers. The author Mitch Albom wrote this book.

I taped the games on national broadcast. Mitchell David Albom is an author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster and musician. This led to many basketball players wanting to copy exactly how the Abom Five were playing, and dressing. Any sports fan should read this book because of the competitiveness throughout the book, and it’s a monumental moment in the sports world.

The fab five had a moto and it was “we going to shock the world” and they did. The story of the first two seasons of the Greatest Class Ever Recruited, the Fab Five of Michigan is incredible in and of itself, but somehow Albom manages to bring it to another level.

He ended up getting the full time coaching job but ended up struggling the next two seasons. Albom does a magnificent job of going in-depth on why these 5 black freshman were different from the rest. They went on to the finals there Freshman year and lost in the finals. My favorite part of the book is when they make it to all the national championships and they play tough teams and they say that the atmosphere is really different from any other games they have played.

The Fab Five was written by Mitch Albom as a biography on a young freshman Michigan rab with small town players with big dreams. They would get into your head and ruin you though out the game. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves basketball and its history on the game it let you see how much harder you have to work to make it to college or the pros.
